I have just came across Laura Spencer’s article on FreelanceFolder inviting freelancer’s to give their opinion about Do You Take All the Work You Are Offered? This is definitely going to be an interesting discussion that I am going to keep my eyes on.

Laura has rightly pointed out that sometimes we freelancers do face feast or feminine situation when job offers are either plenty or scarce. Freelancers definitely have their own methods of dealing with such situation. What are those methods. Do we always benchmark the job offer? Or, do we just grab the job for whatever it takes whenever we are fasting?

One commenter to that article, Salma Jefri, said “Nopes”. She said “I often refuse work for unresponsive buyers or those who’s online reputation is less then savory. Red flags go up in my mind when i see/read buyers referring to how easy a project is to do and how exactly much time it’ll take. A close-minded attitude right at the start does not bode well for a healthy working relationship in the future.” Absolutely correct.

What you are thinking. You may post your thoughts here.
